Dear Bernadette,
What happened when I stuck my neck out on social media last week? Take a quick read of my latest blog post, I Left A (Semi) Controversial Comment on LinkedIn and This Is What Happened, for the full story. Also, you can see what others are saying about it and add your own comments here.
And while we’re talking about LinkedIn, dyk that Pages offers a Nonprofit Action Plan to help organizations optimize their pages and get better engagement? They do! It’s available as a PDF download at this link: LinkedIn Pages - Action plan for Nonprofits
Here's a sneak Peek:

Another download I recommend is the Three B Blueprint - it’s a handy infographic that outlines the three most important keys to powerful nonprofit management. Hint: they each start with the letter ‘b’. You can get it here.

Last, I want to fill you in on three great podcasts I tuned into this week.

Unbusy Your Life with Neill Williams. Neill is a certified master coach who teaches about productivity, time freedom, and generally becoming badass in your world. Episodes 10 & 11 map out Neill’s method of planning a schedule that includes everything you want/need to do. She explains why getting everything out of your brain and into a schedule can free up space in your noggin for more creativity and deep work. I’m doing it. I'm loving it.

The Jordan Harbinger Show - This is an entertaining and surprisingly insightful interview-style podcast. Jordan frequently has interesting, eclectic, big-name guests to talk about everything from genetic engineering to art forgery and talking to strangers. And, every Friday, he and Gabriel Mizrahi give Dear-Abby-style advice to listener questions. Good times.

Beyond Influential with Brittany Krystle - This is a quality podcast about personal branding and this week’s episode (135) explores how to write authentic copy with Kelsey Formost. There’s also an interesting debate about the latest marketing trend: to text or not to text. I’m not replying STOP to this one.
Color me scheduled, entertained, and inspired.
What are you listening to/reading right now? Drop me a line!
Keep Up The Good Work,
Bern
